Brace the hand you are painting with, with the heel of the hand on a table. Do your nails at a table.
don't aim to cover the entire nail, some of the polish will naturally level out. Polish with a thin coat, start on the end and in the middle of the nail. get a little closer the the cuticle and sides on the second coat. Coat in no more than three swipes, or it will get too thick and not dry right. One dip in the polish per nail, two or three swipes,
Practice makes perfect.

Take an old bottle of nailpolish and use your non-dominant hand to paint strait lines on a piece of paper.
You could also trace your hand, draw in with a pen or pencil where your nails are and paint the drawing as if it was your real nails.
Another tip: q-tips in nail polish remover, work great for cleaning up nails, just wait for them to dry at least a minute, or the cotton can get caught on the polish.

The best thing that you could do is practice. Just to be safe make sure u have alot of nail polish remover and tissues and q-tips around just incase you mess up. But also the trick to is to go slow. If you try to paint too fast your probaly going to mess up. But good luck ...like i said it takes practice :)

you place your hand on a flat surface like a desk or table then just relax the hand you are painting. Take your time and paint your dominant hand first.

You COULD get someone else to do it for you. I always mess up using my other hand too, haha. I just fix any mistakes I make while/after the paint dries.

practice, practice, practice! Or have a friend do your other hand. Or go get it done by a professional.
