I've never heard of such a thing. In all of the cases that I have ever heard about from friends and so forth, when an unwed female gets pregnant and has a baby, any of the guys who might come in question as the possible father are booking flights for Mexico City and otherwise heading for the tall grass.
Why, in this case, are so many guys, and even Zsa Zsa Gabor's boyfriend (or whatever), falling all over themselves declaring that they are the baby's father? Am I missing something? Or, as Jay Leno says, "What is wrong with this picture.?"

This is being added after 21 responses: There has been some talk on Court TV that the lawyer who has been her constant companion, Howard K. Stern, was present when everybody died. He was there when her 90-year-old husband died, when her son died, and, now, when Anna Nicole died. Is it possible that these were all homicides? Yikes!

i wouldn't trust court tv as an honest source. they are known for making stuff up and actually a few of their "reporters" have law suits against them for false info. oh of course court tv ain't telling you that. i believe nancy grace has a law suit on her as we speak.
also i think its kind of unfair to always blame that guy howard. first off intodays media world...things often aren't told with truth. because someone called the police doesn't mean they were there. howard could have walked in on the whole thing. and from my knowledge howards wasn't there when the old guy died BECAUSE ANA DIDN'T EVEN HAVE HIM AS A LAYWER THEN SHE WAS USING THE OLD MANS LAYWERS. they two are suing for a piece of the old mans money.
remember court tv once had gloria allred force her way into being amber frys lawyer (even she says fry asked her to be aher lawyer-but later contridicted those statements)...she got inside info on the peterson case and gave it to her friends at court tv (isn't nancy grace her DAUGHTER?)-then when the law asked who was leaking info (and it was obvious it was...GLORIA) she denied it....
gee i wonder who was leaking info to COURT TV...gee i wonder who. court tv is the last place i'd be looking for HONEST news.

Whoever the father really is, he is in charge of that fortune until the baby is of legal age to control it themselves. Her death would have been far less complicated if her son were still alive, as he would probably become legal guardian of the child (though not the father of course) in her best interests, and would control the entire fortune, wisely as I would assume. I feel sorry for the baby girl.. so many people fighting over her.. she's lost her mother.. and no matter how much money she has inherited, she'll have learnt that money can't buy everything (when she's old enough.. and i'm referring to the fact that it can't buy her mother back).

Anna Nicole Smith has millions of dollars coming her way from her late husband's death. The money she inherited is held for her. So, since she is dead, the baby will get the money. The baby is too young to hold onto it, so the father will soley be responsible for it. I personally think she and her son were murdered by the father so they could not get the money, and therefore it's accessible to him. They also could be doing it for their 15 minutes of fame, but I think it's having to deal with money.
