Usually, you get a sonogram at your very first appt. (6-8 weeks) and at about 20 weeks. In the 20 week scan, you can usually see feet, etc. So basically she should be about 5 months along, if the ultrasound shows feet, etc. Also, if it's a genuine ultrasound, it should have her name on it somewhere and the date that the ultrasound was done.

Well, put it this way - when I was 13 weeks pregnant with my third I got a sono. and my son had hands, feet, arms, legs, and yes, a head.
I don't quite understand why you feel like they would be lying.
Did you know that at 3 weeks after conception, which is before you even know you are pregnant, your baby has a heart beat. And by 12 weeks everything is formed, even its organs and then all it has to do is grow.
So, please don't act like the baby is some sort of alien or something, just because it is small doesn't mean it doesn't look human, because it is human from conception.

Usually women have ultrasounds at around 12 weeks and at around 20 weeks. At both those times you can see head, feet, and arms, but at 20 weeks they're a lot easier to see.
