Valkyrie
During the time Valkyrie was made, Harley was very close to being "Assembled in America" because of the amount of foreign made parts used.
Someone should tell these geniuses that the Goldwing and Valkyrie is (was) made in Ohio and are machines designed for American riders on long fast American roads.

Right you are, Terry. Most of my "American made" vehicles were actually built in Canada. The new springs for the Dodge were made in Canada, the shocks were assembled in Mexico? with parts made in the USA(BTW production of those parts is moving to Brazil). The alternator was a Mitsubishi.
What's the point? You can still get a new Road King. Can you get a Valkyrie?

sounds like a vicious rumor to me. regrettably, it truly is a rumor which will be in accordance with reality! a piece of writing (see below hyperlink) says that there is concept that Honda will purchase Harley-Davidson. yet even the analysts say it would in all likelihood alienate the customers, no longer to indicate the FTC. no longer an excellent theory, Honda...

Well, Harley Davidson is an American Company. And while Honda has American divisions, it is still Japanese inspired.

The Valkrye is no longer 'assembled' in the USA. It was inspired by US custom designs, but everything was 'made in Japan'.
So Road King it is, despite the japanese shocks...

Ahhh, that Road Kween is a-s-s-e-m-b-l-e-d in the USA. The engine is recycled off a Milwaukee County snow plow, all the rest is from the same providers they use on the Val.
