I was reading an article...on Yahoo actually and it had the meaning of a bunch of flowers. It said Orchid (a belle). Can anyone elaborate on that. What is "a belle"?
Obviously I just had some Orchids mixed w/ Roses sent to someone.

A southern belle (derived from the French belle, 'beautiful') was an archetype for a young woman of the American South's antebellum upper class. She epitomized southern hospitality, cultivation of beauty and a flirtatious yet chaste demeanor.
