You either have a problem with the circuit breaker i.e. going bad or there is a problem in the dryer which is causing it to draw more amps than your circuit breaker was designed for. Either way, get an electrician. Electricity and potential fires are too dangerous to play with.

first i wud check the plug on the end of the power cord to make sure that it is not a loose fit in the receptical. If it is loose then you will not make good contact and the connection can heat up and possible cause the breaker to trip. Second make sure that the voltage of the dryer is the same as the circuit breaker (220-220 or 110-110). Third, circuit breakers do wear out over time especially if they have been tripped numerous times, and wud have to be replaced. If this is the case, u must replace breaker with the same manufacture and voltage.

well most of thes answers are no good, i am not an electricain but here goes: first of all you said washer not dryer, and there are different outlets for voltage differences , so do not worry about that, if it is new do not worry about tracing your wires to the motor, you need to take the cover off of the outlet and make sure the receptilce looks okay with out burns, also plug the washer in a different outlet, use a heavy extension cord if needed, make sure nothign else is powered up, on that same circuit. also make sure nothing else is drawing power on the current outlet, (your washer should be on its own 15 amp breaker(minimum), new code is 20 amp depending where you live, but if you have 15 amp and nothgin else is on there it shoudl work fine, sart with that and see if that fixes your problem

you got a bare or lose wire somewhere, so you got to pull the washer out and trace the wire back to the motor. if you can't find the problem call the place you got the washer from.
