My friend who is a single mum has been working at her current job since October. She works 16hours a week and tax credits top up her income. her boss told her today he's cutting her hours to 12 a week and it may be less than that soon. The tax credit people were no help on the phone but she really doesn't want to go on income support. I have been looking on the net all night for jobs in Nuneaton, Warwickshire for her as she has no internet access but i've come up with nothing. Any ideas on how I can help her?
U.K. answers please. xx

Why don't you buy the Heartland Evening News each night and look in there for her, or there's the free weekly Nuneaton Tribune. You haven't stated what sort of work she's looking for, which would have been a help.

Local newspapers

Word of mouth

Internet (you did this!)

Job Centre

Try local shops / doctors / dentists (whatever line of work she is in) Cold calling on the off chance may work for a p/t job.

Good luck and what a great friend you are!
