American women, speak their minds and tell the men what to do. I grew up respecting men and obeying them. How can I become independent like the American woman?

I feel American women are coming to the realization that they don't need a man to be happy or successful.
Get an education. Something that you can apply a bi-lingual background into.
When you do meet some of the men over here in the USA, you'll see why so many women choose to remain single.

View men and women as equals. We both work, earn money, care for our households, become educated. We respect men but we also demand respect in return. No woman should fear a man, she has every right to voice her opinion and be independent. Independence is being able to care for yourself without anyone's help. I am sure that if you tried you could care for yourself as well. Good Luck.

American women are as oppressed as any women! We respect men that are respectful and we obey men that do not ask anything of us that we do not want to do. We do speak our minds, however, the men do not listen!

a start get different clothes, like dresses,shorts, slacks etc. when shopping buy american foods and cook them. If theirs a problem at home. Tell your problem ? when we live in america, we live ,dress, eat as americans, or YOU can go back home to your country.
