Does anyone here know anything about the atomic Fallen Angel 152 women's snowboard or the Ride Kink 152/156 men's board? Or how about the brands in general? I'm not looking for anything totally mindblowing at this point since the boards are for beginngers, I just want something decent and rideable. I have provided links to each one.

Thanks for the help guys! The Ride board was more in terms of something for my boyfriend. The 152 Atomic for myself because it has a bigger waist which is good because I have big feet and I'm quite a bit taller than most gals. =)

Ive owned both Ride and Atomic boards and found them both to be really good makes. I currently own a Ride Kink and have previously owned an Atomic Hatchet which from looking at the link you previded seems to be the mens version of the Fallen Angel. Both boards are really easy to ride and are both in the small category of being suitable for both begineer riders and advanced riders also. The Ride Kink is a more specialised board than the fallen angel as its very much a freestyle/ jib board its especially good for rail rideing where,s the fallen angel is more of an all montain / freestyle board so it would be suitable for all types of riding. Atomic are very underrated by many people i myself was dubious about buying one of there boards, i think it was mainly because they are known possibly more as a ski company and ive always prefered boards from companys that just sell snowboards. But i think the Atomic Hatchet/ Fallen Angel are two of the best value for money boards you can buy and i really regret selling my hatchet i think i'll probably end up buying another one next year they are so good. I think as good as a Ride Kink is you would be better off with a Fallen angel as its less specialised and a really good quality good value board.

ride products live up to their name I have some of their bindings and theyre awesome. My friend just got the kink this year he likes it a lot but its got a lot of flex if thats what your looking for, if i were u i would get a womens specific board like someone else said but ride makes those too so i would look into it

Ride snowboards are fantastic. You can use them anywhere (the park, the glades, backcountry, or just down the mountain)
Im not so sure of the atmoic snowboards though.
But i ride with a few people that have ride snowboards and they are very reliable and worth the money.

well you shouldn't get a men's board if you are a woman because women have different centers of gravity, so it would not perform to the best. stick with ride.

one of my friends had a womens atomic board once and she LOVED it ( his name was Fred) she said that it was really easy to controll and over all a nice ride!
