My Dad had an Austin seven, he once gave a lift to two fat ladies who sat in the back, and the front tipped up, lifted right of the ground, absolutely true. He had to drive in reverse up a steep hill, as it couldn't get up forwards. We had other very old cars with runner boards. He once had a Bentley with walnut dashboard leather seats, glass window barrier between front and back seats, with a speaking tube, which we had a lot of fun with as kids. First car I drove was a bubble car. I also remember a Morris 8, Austin Cambridge, an open back truck, a Ford Anglia, among others.

A Wolsey 6/90, a massive black ex-police car you could even see the outline of the BELL that was fitted at the front. Drove like a tank and weighed 2.5 tons. No one argued with it, nice old rare car.

Triumph 2000 MK1 c. 1969, when my Dad didn't put the handbrake on properly and the car rolled down the driveway and knocked the garden wall down. Great excitement for a four year old.

1980 something Chevy cavalier. I was around 4 and I put the car in neutral and rolled down the block backwards and ended up hitting a fire hydrant. I was in big trouble after that.
