I just found out that I'm pregnant and I have worked out for years. Do I have to stop exercising and get out of shape just cause I'm expecting a baby?

You can still exercise. Just don't over do it. Don't get yourself to tired. Its actually healthy to exercise during pregnancy.

Don't forget your Kegal exercises either.

If you don't know what kegal exercises are, they are the tightening of your pelvic muscles. The easiest way to discribe it, is trying to stop yourself from peeing. Do this at least 2 or 3 times a day, with 10 in each set, holding it for 10 seconds.

I am not a doctor. But my wife is pregnant and my wifes doctor said that if you were excercising before pregnancy then go ahead. Continue as normal except abdominal exercises. Listen to your body! My wife currently works out. Walking and light jogging or biking is good for you and will help you in labor.

Absolutely not. Exercise is actually recommended during pregnancies. I suggest when you start to show, get a fitness belt for preggos. It's secures your baby so that you can go on with routine workouts. You're just going to have to let up on extreme loads.

You can work out, but you need to limit what you do. You may want to ask a personal trainer at the gym for some tips.
