i know theyr music s diff..but both r special bands with deep music and both r classic..wich s better ?

these two bands are completely incomparable. Their styles are nothing alike, and both are absolutely incredible.

It's tough to compare two bands whose material is so different...The killer Metallica metal chops would mean nothing to playing music like the Floyd's. I'd have to vote for Pink Floyd, as much as I like Metallica.

That's not a very good comparison, as they are two totally different types of music. One is metal, the other is psychedelic. Personally, I would go with Metallica, but that's must my preference. I'm more into the headbanging scene than the getting stoned scene.

PINK FLOYD NO QUESTION! Their music is so much better than metallica, I like metallica too don't get me wrong but Pink Floyd is amazing.

Apples and oranges. I listen to both "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Master of Puppets", but I get completley different things out of them.

Why do you kids try to compare different bands... HOW better? What are your criteria? Just don't tell me "cause Metallica is awesome" - only retards proclaim something to be "better" because they like it.
