Eat Jello ~

For those geniuses that have thumbed down my answer, you obviously have not known that football players eat jello and have had for years because of the gelatin. Gelatin is a coagulant and helps blood to clot. This reduces bleeding dramatically.

Some people are just bleeders and hemophiliacs know this and also consume gelatin ~ SO THERE!

It is totally normal to have bleeding and yellowish crust form around a new piercing. It is a foreign body put into you that your body is trying to reject. It has only been a week. If this is still happening after a month then you have something to worry about. You should keep the earrings in for at least 4-6 weeks before removing them. The human body is incredible and even having them out for the amount of time it takes to shower the holes will begin to close. Then pushing the jewelry back into it will only tear new forming tissue and over time will create scaring.

When you are in the shower wash them with soap and water (antibacterial soap if you have it. Dial is the best one to use) but make sure you rinse it very well. Every other day I would clean them with a 50/50 solution of peroxide and water on a Q-tip. Again rinse with water very well after. The reason for diluting the peroxide is straight peroxide will eat away any newly forming cells in the area and slow down the healing process.

In a couple of weeks if it still feels irritated or if infection starts to form you can use a little tea tree oil on it. You can get that at any local drug store in the health and beauty section. That stuff is a miracle. It cures anything.

Hope that helps.

Clean out your ear piercings immediately with a solution you should've been given when you had it done. Put the earrings back in after that. You need to leave the earrings in and allow the skin around the holes to heal before you remove them. By taking them out, you've irritated the freshly pierced skin and caused it to bleed. Your ears will be tender for a couple of days now - just be sure to leave the earrings in! If you do not put the earrings back in, your holes will close.

when i took out my earrings for the first time, my ears bled a little and were swollen as well. clean the area around the piercing, and clean the earring. eventually, this will stop happening. it is just because your ears were not completely healed when you took the earrings out. make sure to put earrings back in tho, or else the holes will close up and you will have to get them repierced. if you are really concerned, go back to the place you got them pierced and ask them, or go to you doctor.

hope this helps.

Put the studs in rubbing alcohol. Clean your earlobes with Hydrogen peroxide. Find some antibiotic ointment, like bacitracin, put it on your ear lobes.
Now gently put the studs back into your earlobes. 3 times a day, use a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball, and swab your lobes, then put bacitracin on. When you are bored, turn the studs in your ear lobes, that helps to make the scar faster, and will keep you comfortable.
you should be fine!

well, if u just got them done (if thats what u mean by "i have studs for a week now)...then that's where u messed up b/c u are to leave them in for at least 6-8 weeks. also, maybe you have sensitive ears, and in that case, u can't just have anything in your ears. i have sensitive ears and i got my second hole with 14kt white gold studs. but i the place where i got mines done (claires) gave me a solution to put on (wipe around stud) my ears for the first weeks. but mines was a little swolen and bleeding a little b/c i took them out after a month...but i put alchol on it, and it helped along with the solution (but not at the same time) and left them in for another 2weeks.

Your ears probably haven't healed yet and were stuck to the earrings, and tore when you took them out. This is why you're supposed to leave them in for six weeks and turn them when you clean them. You may even have an infection. Your best bet is to keep it clean and let it heal, and then you can decide if you want to try and pierce it again.

it sounds as though the ears are behaving as freshly pierced. I've done this before and had similar problem. I found that using a sterile stainless steel (not cheap earring) and used diluted Detol to disinfect it and used a bit of Neosporin to avoid infection and left it alone (not taking it out and putting it back in) it heals fairly quickly. remembering to turn it so it moves well and does not adhere

You should not take it out yet, wait 6 weeks. Just leave the studs in and the swelling will go down. Just make sure to clean them every night.

Where did you get them pierced? Call them and ask them to advise.

Do you have saline solution (ie. contact solution)? I just got my nose pierced and that's what the piercer reccomended, it works to clean your skin. Make sure your hands are clean before you touch your ears.

If you are worried about infection, go and see your doctor.
