I found out that my older sister who is 18, I'm 15, is working as a dancer in a strip club. I found out because a friend of mine's older brother told him he saw her in action. Anyway nobody in my family knew this and everybody thought she had a job as a waitress. Should I tell my parents about it?

No, don't rat her out...especially if she has a close relationship with your parents. That could break their heart to know that their daughter is doing that.

I think before you go and be a little tattle-tale you should discuss it with her and confront her about it. You don't need to tell her where you got your sources from, but just let her know and if you approve or disapprove tell her.

And hey, it's better than being a prostitute, right? And make sure your friend's older brother is 100% accurate that it was her.

Good luck and I hope everything works out! ;-)

Confront your sister. Don't tell your parents yet. She is eighteen after all she does have a life. She should live a little but then she should know when to get serious. You should not exactly tell her what to do. Bring it up like this: Hey sis, I got to ask you something, advice. My friend, she works as a stripper but she did not tell her parents. Should I tell her parents?

Rembeber the girl has to be the same age as your sister. She probably will tell you what is best and you follow that. Good Luck!

that is a weird situation, your sister will be in huge trouble if someone finds out about this, if you tell your parents you will be doing her a favor, in the sense of getting her out of a bad job that can lead into bad things

First talk to your sister about it and find out what led her to make that decision. Then ask her to talk to your parents together.

well what i think is you should tell/advice her first to stop doing it and if that doesn't work--and she doesn't stop then you have to definitely tell your parents. she might be angry at you for now , but then when she is a bit older she'll realize you did the right thing.

hope that will work for you ☺

well if you want your sister to get into trouble yes but if you really LOVE her dont tell... but my advise is to tell because it might be entertaining for other people but she shouldnt be striping in front of people even though she is getting money for it. if she has an education tell her to use it wisely... her mother didnt pay for her to go to school to waste it when she gets older!!! (^.^)

As a female w/ two brothers... NO. She will loose all respect and trust for you. Talk to HER, not your parents.

Yes, I think you should tell your parents. She may be mad at you for a while, but I think she'll get over it, and your parents should know.
