Ouch! Time will help a lot with getting over your feelings for him. You feel the way you feel and you really can't change those sort of emotions. Every time you find yourself thinking about him, try to think about something else. Keep yourself busy with friends, sports...etc.

As soon as I read this, the first thing I thought of was "First Cut is the Deepest" by Sheryl Crow.

Show him the respect you would want a guy to show you if you wanted to be just friends. Treat him as a friend when you're around him, and put your fantasies in a locked-up diary! Act like a fun friend who has a lot of interests. Who knows, someone else may notice how fun you are and ask you out. Eventually you will stop liking him so much, in the mean time, realize your feelings are normal and will pass.

Whatever you do, don't stalk or obsess over him.

well, i'm sorry to say this but there are only 2 (impossible to achieve) possibilities:
1. You must have no hormones.

2. you must have a really powerful mind.

If you just say "hey, i should stop liking him," and try your hardest, your hormones will restrict your breaking away. only those two ideas could help you.

so what to do, what to do. Well, make some more attempts (making sure not to pessure him into dating yo) to ask him out. do some romantic things. if he rejects you over n over again, your mind will begin to overpower your hormones.

You can't just stop liking somebody. Just be his friend and put your feelings aside. Try to stop looking at him like he can do no wrong - he can. Try looking for his irritating side and I'm sure you'll find your feelings will dull. =) Just don't be too pushy or gushy or it will kill your friendship. You'll get over him in time - just give it some time.

Well I had a similar problem.. and you just got to let the feeling go and its not going to be easy and you might think its impossible try not talking to him and just hang out with different people for a while!!!!!!!!

Everytime you think of him, think about something else positive in your life or find someone else to have a crush on. It might help to know that everyone goes through what you are going through.

just act like you don't like him give him the cool shoulder and he will try to see you for more than just a friend but don't give in right away and you will have your way either way

think of it this way, if he's not smart enough to know what he's missing, then why waste your time? if he was truly a guy that would "connect" with you then he would've notice at least tried to make some effort.
