You only need a passport when traveling to another country, traveling between the states without one isn't needed.

if you are from a foreign counrty and are flying, then YES by all means you will need your passport..if you are driving then NO, but if you ever get stopped by the "police" and are from a foriegn counrty, you had better have the passport, even if you are driving..if you are from another state in the US, then only the driver ID is required for anything..if you have a passport too, it is best to have it though..never know and better to be sure then sorry

Within the United States, you do not have to have a passport. You do have to have an official form of picture ID to drink alcohol.

If you are flying you will need a form of picture ID either a passport, driving license or a form of government ID. If you are driving, there are no state line check points so you can just drive through.

Hi passport person!YES you do,if you are flying,this is the best form of Id,if you are driving forget about it.I think they just passed a law about this,better yet call a travel agent ,it wont cost you to ask!!!

If you are not american or have an american driving licence, yes you will need a passeport.
