I'm having sound problems, I can't hear audio. I just upgraded my computer from Windows XP to Vista Home Premium. What do I have to do? Purchase a new sound card? If so than what are the things I got to look for when I'm buying a new card?

one of the many pitfalls of people rushing out for the vista upgrade,many items will have driver problems for a good few months,personally i wouldnt go for vista for at least a year theres no point,it takes months for the problems to rear their ugly heads and theres always hotfixes and service packs released in the first few months,better to wait a year for the true colours to show,i doubt that vista is all its cracked up to be.go get a new card mate but make sure its vista compatible and has the driver disk,you can always change back to your original once drivers become available.

Go to your sound card's manufacturer's website and check for Vista driver.
