court date after the prosecuting day. I am going away for spring break and I really do not want to miss this vacation. I was just wondering if it was like one or two months or how long they schedule it after

thanks :)

If your guilty of the charge, cop a plea through your lawyer, fine and community service, fine, community service, and probation.
If this is your first offense, that might give you a slight edge. Show remorse. Don't walk into that court room with an attitude, you might have a judge sitting on the bench who would rather lock you up, then put up with your attitude. Good luck.

Let me give you a little tip, you are looking at probation which means not taking out of state vacations. Also, do not be asking these kind of qusetions. If this is a first offense the judge will be lenient unless he finds out your more concerned with a vacation than what you have done.

U.S. courts are always backed up. The earliest averages 6 weeks. It may even take a few months.

Your lawyer (you should definitely have one) should be able to schedule around your spring date, especially if you've bought plane tickets.

Well ain't that a shame.

With any luck it will be scheduled right smack in the middle of your vacation. Should have thought about consequences before you ripped off the retailer and the public.

Hearings are usually soon after the offense date. This offense could interrupt your plans, since no one knows what the penalty will be.

You are total loser. You need to grow up, get a life and don't ask other people to help with your problems. What Mommy and daddy might ground you if they find out?

You should have thought about it before you "commited a crime", so tough break and tough spring break.
