So sad is the state of the GOP. They have no viable candidate for 08, the war in IRAQ is a shambles, the White House is sending more troops into the mess, high profile Republicans are being charged and investigated all the time, it really goes on and on. Why do Conservatives "swallow" all this garbage?

Once again, you are talking about neo-cons, not conservatives. We conservatives have been given the bums rush from the Republican Party. It is controlled by neo-cons.
Conservatives are referred to as "Isolationists" by the neo-cons. If we had been in power, we wouldn't be in Iraq today. It's the neo-cons that believe in undeclared wars against countries that haven't attacked us. They believe in all of these foreign entanglements. Perpetual war for perpetual peace.
Vote for Buchanan in 2008.

There are Conservatives in both parties so your question when grouped with your rant do not represent the truth but still I will play. There are liars in both the Conserv and Lib camps. There is at this time no real viable candidate in either major party. If Tom Tecredo (not sure of the spelling) runs he would be a viable option for the Reps. Joe Lieberman would be a viable choice for the Dems. Iraq is not a great success yet but with time it will be. Both parties have their share of people being charged/ investigated for crimes it is not just one side. I don't buy the crap from either side without verifying it for myself. I a Conservative and Bush is not. I did support him in both elections and still support him on most issues but he is not a Conservative.

The same reason staunch democrats buy into all the promises their party cannot keep, we disagree with the other parties agenda.
Look at the first legislation the newly elected house majority is enacting...raising the minimum wage? This affects a very small minority in the short-term but with have huge negative impacts for the economy in the long term. Why don't they work on more important issues like social security reform or health care and prescription reform for our rapidly aging society or better yet, work with the current administration to pass the proposed budget which proposes federal deficit relief in a reasonable time-frame
I'll tell you why, there's much less political gain in it for them. They act as though they are high-school sophomores craving poularity instead of doing the right things for our country. "One and done" will come back to haunt them all. Once their across the board tax increases go into effect, voters will quickly give 'em the boot.

Get your head out of your a ss, as there are several viable candidates for 08, and most better than what the Dems have, the white house is sending more troops because that what one of the options presented to him from the democrat commission that looked into it, and shall we get into what demo's were charged with and investigated over the past ten years, or those that have committed murder and got away with it (cough Chappaquiddick) and it goes on and on..what the louder you say it the more you believe it??????????????

I heard it come out of his personal large mouth that he needs to spread the wealth 3. Iraq did have WMD. Saddam used them on his personal people. Liberals have a tendency to prefer to ignore about that.

Poor Democrats. They have no viable candidate for 08, they are weak on defense, they don't want to provide our troops with any assistance or funding, they get drunk and kill women or have affairs and have no conscience to let them know they have crossed the line, and it really goes on and on. In addition, they have the Pelosi who is for minimum wage increase EXCEPT for certain businesses in her district, and Gore who is for saving the planet as long as he doesn't have to change his personal habits.......Why do liberals swallow? hmmm

I just saw another question which made me know I had done the right thing in going third party, as this question does. Many of you two party slaves these days can't get it through your skulls that America is more than just the two of you. She is a set of ideals which, frankly,though you pay lip service to them, neither of the parties embodies them anymore, if they ever did.
