What qualities does Obama have that make him so good?
I know nothing about him. So what do you think?

He is a good speaker. Other than that he has no good qualities. I'm a Democrat and I'm not crazy about him, he is politcally empty. He is the creation of driven crazy media that has glorify him.

He's the most pluralistic of any of the candidates. He believes that we're not just blue states and red states, but the United States of America.

He preaches unity instead of partisanship. He avoids attacking Republicans and instead chooses to stand on his own beliefs. His message could be well received in an era when so many people are sick of our current system and are sick of partisan politics.
