I just bought xbox360 today...It was working properly for 3 hrs...and i changed 2 games during this time...but when i started playing dead rising the console shut down....i tried playing it again but the same thing happened after 5 mins...
After 15 when i started playing the other games it was working properly....
So now can anyone tell me whats the prob here...coz i also heard that some of the games are crashing the system....

you need to take it back right now, and swap it for a new one, it's not games crashing the system it's the system itself, believe me, i'm on my 4th one, if you take it back where you got it and have your receipt then you won't have to send it in to microsoft, and wait 3 weeks for a replacement, you can skip all that. it has flashing red lights? if not, it will soon. don't call 1 800 4 my xbox if you don't want to wait a month.

Since you bought it today- take it right back to the store. Get another one or a replacement. If it crashes again it is the game itself, not the console.

The console could have overheated but sometimes I play for 6 hours+ and it never overheats but it could happen.
