Why do the schools teach us to hate our race?

Howcome in schools we are taught to hate our own race? I am talking about people of European descent living in America.
A month ago a video was telling us how advanced arab muslims were while europeans were "pigs" (and yes they did use the word pigs).

In school they use to teach us how white people are murderers, liar, theives, etc.. It is simply not true. The European race has accomplished so much it is amazing!

It must be so disapointing for our ancestors what we have turned into! A bunch of "white guiltly" people!

What annoys me is how they forget SPAIN is part of Europe too, where does this "caucasian, non-hispanic" catagory come from? During the last ice age most of Western Europe and all the UK was crowded down into Spain. Oh, the most successful, advanced people are always to blame, even though part of the arguement against slavery was that no one generation had lease or ownership over another. All you need to know, is greed and envy are the biggest reason for hating someone, and the easiest way to excuse your own laziness/ignorance, is to blame all your problems on someone else. It's true, certain people are told since birth to hate and despise the USA, no amount of trying to please them/appeasement will change that, either they have to change their opinion, or when they attack, we have to do what we have to do, and despite what some whine about imperialism, it's better to fight a war in their backyard than in ours.

I am glad you have taken note of this fact. It is indeed true that our society has reached a point in which those of 'fair' skin tones cannot ridicule, disagree nor counteract the statements and beliefs of minorities. As my friend had just now commented upon "Whites do not enjoy the same freedoms of speech as do minorities." In short we are witnessing a double standard. Furthermore, minorities are not capable of 'racism' with regards to whites. Whites are however, almost 'prone' to racism. This cannot continue. Please, continue to reveal this aspect of our culture to others and open the minds of the masses.

Because it's the truth. When the Europeans came to this country they stole, lied, mudered, and cheated their way to the top. Now they are slowly declining. It's a wonderful thing. Right now we are at war because of a white person. We are not in Iraq right now because of Osama. We are there because of Bush.

Schools are here to do something called make money. The instructors pass along information that they are given to pass to us the student. We then learn it and either pass or fail. Fail they make more money pass they still make money from the next class you take. I am a College Student at this current time and I take what I learn from these classes for what it is. You can not allow something said to change your world and what you feel. All races have "Bad" people. All races have "Good" people. Worry about which one you are.

People from europe have contributed so much to today's society.
They don't teach that at my skool.I'm guessing the crusades was kind of giving them that stereotype.

What school do you go to? You know you could file a law suit for that one. I am of European Parents, and truthfully they came to this country with my grandparents with hardly any money. They are now self made rich. They look at "americans" and laugh at them for being so lazy. Welfare and Food stamps and living like they dont care about themselves. I went to Europe and couldnt belive how advanced they were in Technology, music, stylish clothes and maturity of young people. America cannot compare to Europe. You should print this out with all your answers and submit it to school.

I get reported every time I answer your questions...I finally got my points up so I'll just say propaganda is the answer you are looking for. They are brainwashing our youth to be complacent and tolerant of multiculturism. There is wide spread white guilt, and shame for our culture. And to be honest, our ancestors didn't give a crap what there actions would lead to for there children's children today. They were lazy and didn't want to work the fields and look what we have to live with now! They should have never given into temptation and bought black slaves, maybe this nation would be white....

historically unfortunately whites achieved much on the backs of others. during the dark ages and crusades they got they're knowledge from the middle east...by buying and yes, sometimes stealking taxtiles, and goods and returning them home. this country was "discovered" by europeans but people already lived there...they were forced to move and were enslaved and raped and finally masacred to spread the european nation across the now United States. I'm not racist, but i do know that early whites HISTORICALLY were domineering and didnt do much on they're own. we all know about slavery. that wasnt exactly 1000 years ago. blacks are still dealing witht he effects today wether you agree or not. you can email me if you want to know how i figure that. I dont hold any white person today personally responsible for what happend to my ancestors but i know that your ancestors mutilated,and killed, raped, and destroyed mine....everything we have in America that was created long ago is reported as being done by a whiteman. while many achievements blacks have made are being swept under the rug...just to show you how much we are overlooked as well:not many people know that the original statue of liberty was originally a black woman in broken chains. with her hands upraised in freedom. White america quickly changed that huh? its not even in our books. its such a simple fact..dont believe me check it out. it isnt easy to find but with research you'll see it. all races are downplayed compared to whites...i dont even know what you mean by the "guilty white" dont be offended by historical facts if you didn't do it yourself. nobody said you were evil only the actions of the murders of the past were.

I don't buy that...I don't think schools are all out to make white people look bad. And if they are, then as long as you know that what they're saying is in bad taste, then be content that you know better.

But I find it slightly amusing that you used the term "European race"...I've never heard of that before. I'm curious as to what kinds of people are included in that.
