My siter's fella told her that they where the only bats that could see.BLAGGING or what?Cos I looked on google and couldn't find any.?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No such thing as a 'swallow' bat. You're being fed a load of BS.

And all bats have functional eyes, just some bats eyes have a poor ability to see in the dark. Some bats don't even have the ability to use echolocation.

Only bats from the suborder Microchiroptera have echolocation (with the exception of the Egyptian fruit bat 'Rousettus egyptiacus'). The "fruit bats" aka "flying foxes" don't use echolocation.

As far as I know there is no such thing as a swallow bat... As well, saying that they are the only one that can see also adds to this as all bats can see, and many have much better night vision than us, adding to this some bats use echolocation to "see". Then there are the fruit bats like flying-fox which have excellent eyesight during the day. So is he making things up ? I'd say yes.

dont know but ive known a few old bats that swallow.

ALL bats can see. They have eyes...what do you think they use them for!
