How many times do you have to beat the chicken at checkers to get the Golden Egg?

It should be the same like on the Sims 2 for the PS2 you have to go and by the chicken checkers and if you have Sims 2 pets you have to go in the little park place and the place that sales food and pet beds is where you buy it on Sims 2 pets but on the first one it's in the buy menu
