okay i saw my black molly try to mate with a couple of female molliess today. he missed(if you know what i mean) a couple of times. will he get it right? also my biggestt dalmation molly and my silver molyl keep going around in circles really fast nipping at each other. are they mating or fighting. if fighting should i take one of themout of the tank?

Anywhere from 3-4 weeks depending on the temperature of the water!! HTH!

How do you know that they didn't spawn? It may of happen so fast that you didn't see it happen. If you don't have lots of hidding places for them to hid. You might try putting lots of plants in the tank & other things that they can get away from each other.
