Col. Arnaldo Tamayo-Mendez was the first non-white to enter space. He was a Cuban by birth, and had dark skin.
he entered space aboard the Russian Salyut 6 spacecraft some 3 years before Guion Bluford went into space on an American space mission.

Cuban Col. Arnaldo Tamayo-Mendez on the Soviet mission Salyut 6 in 1980 was the first male in space from African decent. That was 3 years before American sent its first African-American male into space.

Both Russia and the USA have sent Blacks into space. Neither of them, however, is a Black country. No Black country has ever sent anything into space, as far as I know. All the men who walked on the moon were White.
