what would you say the difference is between the way British teens act and the way American teens act?

Fashion, attitude to money, they socialize differently, british teens drink more.

I would assume American teens are more laid back amongst other things...not saying thats always a good thing but like do they care about anything other than themselves?
Are British teens more respectful or tactful at least? Do they display better manners than American teens?

i'm an american teen. we just sit back and take in what's going on. and it's obvious that there's a whole lot of teens hitting the sheets, smoking pot, and drinking alcohol(sp?). yeah that's stuff just gross. but we just don't care about anything for the main part, that's pretty sad i think.
