Homeopathy, though it is said that is scientifically unfounded, it would be the best to say that science has not yet developed enough parameters and devices to prove or test homeopathy.

Homeopathy works on the principle of "Likes cure Likes"

It is complete innocence and ignorance to say that homeopathy has nothing more than the placebo effect. The homeopathic action of a medicine depends on the physician who prescribes it. a medicine cannot be called homeopathic just because it is printed so on the label. A homeopathic prescription needs great observation and analysis from the physician.

According to what was known in the first part of the 20th Century it could be said that homeopathy had no "scientific basis" In the past 50 years quantum physics and molecular biology have proven that the serial dilution and energising of homeopathic remedies is actually more effective the higher the solution. Most scientists are not ready to grasp this, any more than the general public, they are stuck with the idea of a clockwork universe governed by the laws of Newtonian physics.
Homeopathy is so scientifically advanced that most homeopaths don't fully understand it - although a qualified homeopath can use it to create miracles.

What is the question? Homeopathy probably saved my life -- had answers for me when all the doctors and specialists could just keep prescribing pills that did not work and had horrible side effects. It works, it is worth the money, there are lots of books and websites on the matter.

If the question is regarding the validity/success of homeopathy, here's my personal experience. I find it very difficult to believe that applying and taking Arnica and seeing a large, very painful bruise at the base of my spine miraculously disappearing within a couple of days could be a mental trick on my part...

I would have to disagree with the whole 'placebo' theory... and to be honest, even if it was that - is it such a bad thing as long as there is a positive result?

Homeopathy is scientifically unfounded. If it works for anyone, it is because of the placebo effect.

It consists of taking a minute amount of a substance that is supposed to be the cause of the ailment and diluting it down until there is practically no trace left. There is absolutely no scientific proof or study to show that it can be effective in any way other than through a placebo effect.
