Honestly, I wonder if the Steelers should fire Tomlin and get him. I wonder how that would work out. He fixed up Rivers why not Big Ben. I was very frusterated with the way they defended their title. Anyways, as of right now there is said to be no openings. So Marty may have a year of fishing and golf ahead of him.

nope.

the timing for san diego couldnt have been worse. Defensive coordinator Wade Philips took the job in dallas, and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is going to Miami. they also lost 3 other assistants. now they have entered a head coach search at the worst time possible.

shottenheimer wont do much if he doesnt get a new job. he'll probably just take a break next season

Well a friend of mine told me that Joe Gibbs is having some personal problems and may walk away from the Redskins, John Gruden in Tampa bay hasnt done much since their Superbowl win so he may be on the hot seat and out of a job soon, and then there is the opening in San Diago... oh wait they just fired Marty, I wouldnt be surprised if he went back there.

there are no coaching jobs available (besides the chargers open slot)

but there are alot of teams that should consider hireing him
like the vikings, raiders, browns, lions, or cardinals

even with his loosing playoff record he is better than a lot of employed coaches

HE JUST LED THE CHARGERS TO A RECORD OF 14-2. THE REASON HE WAS FIRED WAS DUE TO HIS CLASHING WITH THE G.M. THERE!!! He'll take the year off (he's getting paid 4 mil to do that. And he'll be back as a HEAD COAH in 2008.

He'll get hired somewhere. Not htis year, probably 2008. Then he'll take that team to the playoffs. At the point, the team owner needs to bar him from the stadium because he has some kind of crazy january jinx on him.

Schottenheimer can be the defensive coordinator for the Vikings, I don't know if there are any better jobs left.
