The wonderful thing about the universe is that is ruled by series of equilibrium. In this case, as humans turn blue when affected by a sharp drop in temperatures, smurfs turn human colour. As there is no one universal colour for humans (take a look around there are many different shades) smurfs actually become a blend of all coulours. As everone knows, a mixture of all colours, passed through a prism gives a rainbow. The next time you see a rainbow, remember this isn't actually caused by sunshine and rainfall but is actually a smurf who is getting a little chilly.

I believe the a singular correct solution is not plausible. Smurfs are unique despite their similiar traits. For example, Papa Smurf reportedly turned tinkle-me-pink while traveling through Upstate New York yesterday, whereas Hefty was accounted in the Yukon, sporting a shade of sea-green while participating in a dog-sled race. Whether my sentiment will cause dissension or not, you must understand that this scenerio of "cold smurfs" is but a metaphor for the tolerance we should have for people of all races.

Well think of this logically. When someone is cold they uusually get a red tink in their face, so miix blue and red, you get purple. Therefore smurfs must turn purple whe cold.

I'd imagine pink to be opposite of blue but then again maybe not?

If we were were naturally blue, we'd probably go even darker blue to black like frostbite and end up with gangrene!

The Gangrene Smurfs!! Brilliant! :- D

They don't turn into any other colour. If they get cold they simply die, it's true Gargamel told ME!

No one turns blue when they are cold so they would be red and raw.
