I'm thinking about trading in my Gamecube and X-Box, since I don't really play them much anymore and I'm short on cash. About how much will game stores pay for those systems, and do they pay in cash or store credit? Thanks!

Gamecube will probably get you about $20-$25 depending on your location. Gamestop/EB Games sells the Gamecube for about $60. Xbox might get you about $40-$50 as used systems sell for $100. Hope this helps.

You would get more if you sold them yourself because the game stores will only give you about $20 cash for each one and that's if they're perfectly working, and maybe $25 each in store credit.

I just asked for selling back my PS3 (60GB), and they said only $300 something, if it's in perfect condition!!!

Seeing how they make almost NO PROFIT by selling a new system, I think this is ridiculous! At half retail cost, I can only imagine what you get for older systems...

The best you could do is sell it in craigslist.com as a bundle and you will sell it within one week. I have sold a 360 and a 8gig ipod there.

Very little. Your better off trying craigslist.com, or ebay. If you have games, try and bundle them with the systems. It makes it more appealing, good luck!!
