I have made the mistake of introducing my 3 month to fruits before veggies, and now she doesn't want the vegetables. Does anyone have any suggestions to help switch her to veggies? (by the way she is in her 4th month and my pediatrician has ok'd it, she has a big appetite)

I have read in a few magazines that it really doesn't matter which is introduced first. Your baby will either like veggies or she wont. Same w/ fruit. She'll either like it or she wont. It's not your fault she doesn't like the veggies. Its just her taste :) Look at like you're learning more about your daughter!

Our family doctor told us that under no circumstances were we to feed any food besides breast milk or formula until after 6 months. The baby has no way to express to you that it is feeling bad because it is having an allergic reaction from the food. Switch back to strictly breast milk or formula and no dairy at all. You baby is meant to drink these and will live (thrive) on them. When your baby is old enough to eat these foods the suggestion is that you try to offer it to your baby several times over a few weeks. Eventually it will start eating the veggies. I feed fruit in the morning and then two veggies. One veggie at lunch and one at dinner. I also fit about 3 eight ounce bottles into the day and maybe a 4 ounce if she is still hungry. My baby may eat more or less than yours. Dont ask your baby to eat more than they want. They know when they are full. Wow there are a lot of great resources on the net about all of this. Check with your doctor, any doctor, or the nurse line about feeding cuz you really should not be feeding solids yet. Its not good for your baby and could be dangerous.

First of all, a three-month-old doesn't need solid foods at all. Pediatricians generally recommend starting solids between four and six months to reduce the risk of food allergies. They simply don't need "real food" before then.
As for convincing your (older) baby to try new things, repetition is the key. Expect to offer a new food five or six times before the child is receptive - just don't give up.

First off they are not suppose to have solids til 6 months old and you are suppose to give veggies first. Just keep on trying is the only thing you can do.

I did they same thing with my son! He is 6 years old now and he still has a sweet tooth. I tried to switch him as an infant as well and it never worked.
I hope you find a way! Good luck!!
Ragmama is right...your baby does not need baby food at this point. Maybe just stop food all together and wait a few months.

1) maybe mix some of the fruit into the vegetable.
2) keep trying-- it may take time
3) try a variety of vegetables
I gave my baby fruits first and he loved every vegetable that I offered to him.
Also, isn't 3 months a little too young for fruits and veggies????

my son isn't 3, he purely grew to become 2 yet is tall and is 36 inches and is 28 pounds. he's approximately 50% for top. besides, juice is empty energy and in fact sugar. no chocolate milk and you will change to a million or 2% milk truly of total. i'm no longer announcing placed her on a "foodstuff plan" yet replace fatty snack for issues like carrots, yogurt, granola and issues like that

Don't know if your 3 month old should be on solids yet - but anyway - try adding apples to carrots or other veg keeping the sweeetness up but slowly decreasing it - or otherwise just keep going, babies will usually spit it back one time but eat it another.

3 months is way to early to be feeding your child fruits and veggies, your ruining her stomach. She shouldn't be eating any of this till 6 months. Have you even given her rice cereal yet?

Your baby doesn't need solids till 4 months at the earliest. You just have to kep trying to give it to her. She'll get tired of just one thing and eventually want something different.
