He assumes so, but has not actually seen his older brother fly. The relationship which Peter and Nathan have is unique.
I honestly believe that Nathan has more powers than what has been shown in the
Heroes' Saga, so far. We already know he is the Father of Claire {the cheerleader), and look at the power her real mother has.
And Peter also, is quite unique, special - having the ability, now to use the powers of the others{which are His also now), whom he has had contact with. He has an excellent teacher, who's helping him to greatly control, perfect his powers. A bit unusual, this guy(sorry I forgot his name) his teacher is, but he is helping Peter a great deal.
This teacher dude, did say that he has attempted to help a few others, with powers to perfect/control their powers, but these people gave up too quickly {maybe those people, he had did his best to help [to control their powers] were Nathan, and Claires real Mom!?
But anyway, sorry for going a bit overboard with my answer to you. My 10 yr. old son asked me a week before the first very first episode ever came out, to watch this Heroes
series with him, so I tape it for him, and watch it as well (on Mon. and Fri. on Sci-Fi). It drives my wife nuts sometimes, because as we watch this, we evalutate, analyze what is happening, and what will happen in the future episodes. My wife tells me that we are getting into this series, as some women get into their Soap Operas. My son and I laugh. Maybe she is right. But this, along with Smallville, are the only two T.V. shows we ever watch, besides Basketball on T.V. of Course {because I played in College, and my son plays now).
Anyway, I look forward to your future questions. My son & I didn't ever think we'd meet anyone who watches the Hereos' Saga, as we do. You know how there are Jesus'
Freaks in the world (nothing against christians), well my son and I, are Heroes' Freaks.
Take Care, and Happy Valentine's Day !

Yes. That's what got Peter started investigating in the first place. If you've seen the first two episodes, Peter believes that he can fly and jumps off a building. While he is falling, Peter blacks out, but last thing he sees is Nathan holding him and flying down to safety.

Peter had told Claire to shoot him because she knew the exact spot - at the lower part of the brain (where she and Peter were both "killed"). Nathan's was an act of sacrifice to save the City. He assumed Peter would come back. What I'm hoping is that Peter flew away from Nathan so that Nathan got to live too.

Yes, Peter does know Nathan can fly really good and really fast. But Nathan doesn't know about Peter's power absorbing powers. Nathan just thinks that Peter can fly. But flying isn't Peter's power.

yes he knows Nathan can fly. But he doesn't know that Nathan is Claire's father (Save the Cheerleader). Very interesting where this is going.
