im tired of valentines..everyone is bloody celebrating it except me...im tired of being the assitant that helps to pick gifts and wrap...why am i so jinxed?

No I also get tired of it sometimes to, it like most other ridiculous holidays, is it even a holiday I don't know, but it sucks especially if you have no real sweetheart. Keep trying you'll be ok.

Vengeance can be yours! Try setting up a "St. Valentine's Day Massacre" dance! Invite everyone appropriate, play lots of good songs like "Love Stinks", "Heartbreaker", "Owner of a Lonely Heart", etc. Ask everyone to bring a platonic friend of the opposite gender. Perhaps next year they'll let you do it as the office party, if that's your thing.

It's just a day, but a tough one if you do not have a special someone. Be your own special someone.
You are not jinxed, you're blessed b/c you have a computer & can reach out to a world of individuals. Believe, there are many poor folks that don't have a day to celebrate let alone V-Day.
Smile & wish everyone you see love, lots of it. You'll soon get it back.

Your not jinxed, just haven't found the right one is how i look at it all. Everyone who celebrates this holiday is not necessarily happy. Most times its a front to help them keep going and not appear to feel like you. Just be patient your time is coming.

I'm so sick of Valentine's Day...it's just so horrible! And in high school, it's bad because people always brag about their boyfriends, and what they gave them, and then they make out in front of my locker...and there's that stupid carnation sale, which I hate because this year, I've got late arrival, and carnations are delivered during first period-when I'm not in school. I'll admit it-I'm a little bitter right now. Also, there's the fact that my grandma, who usually sends us cards for Valentine's Day, sent them to my siblings-but not to me. It could have gotten lost in the mail or something, but...still. It's annoying. Sorry for the rant.

Dont fall into the trap of feeling bad on holidays just because society tells you that you should. These romantic "holidays", such as Valentines Day and Sweetest Day, have been marketed my greeting card companies to be something they were never created to be , in order to what? SELL cards and gifts.. Dont fall for it

I used to think the way you do, until this year rolled around and I finally have someone... but in years passed I send something to myself and sign it as Someone Special... or go out and see a movie that way I'm not just sitting around feeling angry because I'm alone. Trust me, tomorrow go out and be in public, go to a movie, go to the mall, go to a concert if possible... somewhere with people... who knows. Maybe someone you like will show up and be alone.
