Hey Doris,

Rosa Parks was not afraid to say she was a vital human being, and refused to sit in the back of the bus simply because she was also an African-American. Her objection rang a wake up call to humanity, we are all equal.

She is an American Hero. She is a role model for everyone. She proves that one person can make a difference and that if you step up for something you believe in you can make a change. Sure the civil rights movement would have succeeded without her, but her and the other heroes of the movement were all key parts in the over all picture.

Things are done by those few souls who are brave enough to say what they think and take action. Thank you Rosa, happy Valentines Day.
