This is so so terrible I can't believe it , but I have to agree with you, I did wonder how it all happened...with the mother down stairs. But we can't judge because we don't know the facts so who knows what really went on.
Personally, there are more and more of these things happening recently, and we should bring back hanging, then that would sort out the prison over crowding and get rid of these evil people once and for all..
Sorry to rant but do you remember that evil evil man that raped that 6 week old baby last year and he got 8 years........8 years. and that was increased from 5.. What is 8 years... it's nothing..........They should all be shot/hung or LIFE should mean LIFE................
Grrrrr sorry rant over

For the people that don't know.Casey was a 2year old girl her in the UK who was found dead covered in blood when her mother went to check on her.Her uncle has since been arrested and it appears that she had been strangled and possibly sexually assaulted.I would think people shouldhold fire before spouting off about the poor mother who must be devastated .

The poor woman must be going through hell at the moment, I can't even imagine what it must be like to have your child killed in such a vile, sick and disgusting way, until we know the facts we can't judge anyone. I hope whoever did this gets what they deserve.

The news reporter said that the guy they had arrested was thought to be the baby's uncle, I'm sure that most parents would consider that leaving a child with a relative would be ok. I know I did, thankfully for me I was right. This poor woman has lost her child, and at the hands of a relative that she thought she could trust...people should leave her alone to grieve and stop blaming her.

Don't you think the police may just be good enough at there job to consider that? Give the woman a break, i could NEVER imagine a nightmare like that woman must be going through. Don't you think she is beating herself up over the same thing?

If it happened in the US, the mother would have certain constitutional rights. Like the right to be tried in the media, especially by Nancy Grace if the crime involves a young white girl. Nancy is just a little busy with non-stop Anna Nicole coverage right now.

Well the attacker would have been able to muffle her voice with his hand. But still, I would imagine it would have been difficult for the intruder to be entirely quiet, so yes I agree why didn't she hear anything. Also the woman had a son, who shared the bedroom with his sister - how come he never woke up either!! Sounds all a little bit strange to me!!

I think you should wait until we find out what happened before you go putting blame on a woman who has lost her child in a horrific way.

I don't agree, the poor child was only small, it's making me feel sick thinking about this but he could have covered her mouth. They announced earlier she was strangled so if she was asleep perhaps (hopefully) she didn't actually wake up while he was doing it.
