A post lady i know was recently pelted by 5 teenagers with snowballs after falling off her bike & they filled her bag with snow.[They didnt hurt her at all] Do you think this funny or nasty. [She knows i'm writing this]

No it's not funny. If she fell off her bike she could have been hurt. It would have been nice if at least one of them checked to see if she was ok. Also, stuffing snow into her mail bag...isn't that tampering with the US mail. Couldn't these five pick on another group of snow ball throwers? Five against one...sounds like a bunch of bullies.

as far as like one snowball as she's riding past, that'd probably be funny...but assaulting her after she'd fallen off her bike is just malicious... kinda like striking a fatal blow to an unarmed warrior in the days of chivalry... not cool... at least while she's on her bike she has a reasonable chance of escaping the wrath of the snowball jerks... and as far as filling the bag with snow, if there was mail in there, chances are it got tampered with (as in, melting snow smearing ink, ruining letters, so on...) and if that's the case, it's a federal crime...our government doesn't look too kindly on people destroying other people's mail...

That was nasty. Filling her bag with snow could be considered a crime. Tampering or destroying someone else's mail could get them into trouble if she wanted to retaliate.
