Well, do you mean number 1 as in top of the charts? Or, do you mean their album titled "1"?

Sgt. Pepper is the number one record ever sold...not by just the Beatles, but in rock history....the Beach Boys (unsure of the album's title) are number two.

I guess you mean The Beatles, Sargent Peppers Loney Hearts Club Band would be the LP and the single is Hey Jude.
