How can i write celebrities? Where do i get their address from?

I would like to write to a celeb, Where do i get their address from? Which people are most likely to reply?

Has anyone wrote to anyone famous and had a reply?

I remember seeing a documentary where there were some celebrities who hired this company to receive and forward their fan mail.

There are several magazines that have lists of celebrities, and their official addresses for fan mail ( NOT their home addresses--the celebrities would not appreciate that these days, with the weirdos out there ! )

I think there is a monthly list in Autograph Collector Magazine, which says which actors and personalities will respond with an autograph or a photo. Bear in mind, many famous persons have publicists and public relations firms to handle mail of this type. You may or may not get a personal reply, depending on the person and how popular and busy they are. Most have no time to send personal replies to hundreds, if not thousands, of fans, even if they wanted to. So don't be angry or disappointed if you get just a form letter.

The best place I have found for addresses for celebrities is www.fanmail.biz , This site also has a feedback forum that can be searched to see other collectors latest successes.I just received a personalized pic from Singer Dannielle Peck.Also yes there are companies that Celebs hire to answer the mail.The biggest one is a company called Studio Fan Mail.If you get a response and the envelope has that name, it is what's called a Pre-Print.They are not really worth anything.

Please dont, then get more letters a day than you've gotten this year, they most likely, WILL NOT respond..but if u want to talk to someone famous, im right here..(thats sounds like im bragging, but im not)
