i put the audio cd on in the drive and it appears on itunes so how do i rip the song into mp3 form from itunes? good instructions only

It should automatically ask you if you want to import the CD to your iTunes Library.

If it doesn't ask you to import the songs when you put the CD in, you can drag and drop them by going to the CD under Devices on the left of the screen, and drag and drop the songs to the main Library on the left side of the screen.

If you only want certain songs off of a CD, click no when it asks you if you want to import the CD. Now you can drag and drop specific songs to your library.

When the CD shows up, there should be an option to import the CD. Importing the CD is the same as "ripping" it. In iTunes, there is usually a button in the bottom right of your screen that says "import CD" when you have the CD pulled up. I hope this helps you. Good luck...
