I put a towel at the bottom but that doesnt help with the rest of the damn door. What the hell can i do to fix this? I dont think my apartment complex is nice enough to take care of this, and if they do it will be 2 months later when they get to it. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AT home improvement stores, there are felt weather strips that stick on all openings of your door. you may need two sets, one near the outside and one near the inside. At the bottom of the door, try gluing some heavy felt enough to be able to shut the door with a hip bang. Still use the towel, but an inexpensive down throw (Costco) Domestication.com. and other places may help too. Good luck.

Probably the reason the air is coming in is because your apt is under NEGITIVE PRESSURE. Otherwise it would not come in. If you have a gas furnace in your apt it draws huge quantities of air from the apt and discharges them outside to the atmosphere. That air is then replaced thru every crack and crevis in the house. See if you have a make up air pipe that is connected to the make up air intake near the furnace's filter, the damper on that might be closed, if so get someone to adjust it that know how.

u could buy a roll of weatherstripping. its foam about an inch wide with a sticky backing. apply it all around the door jamb and this will help keep the cool air out and the light as well,if you still have gaps just apply as much as needed.....shuold work fine....cheapest way i know...

We have a door like that in our house. We have these thick drapes and we hang it over the door. I'd suggest that or a really thick blanket.
Goodluck.
