I did. Thankfully, only one of her eyes was infected, but a few drops twice a day cleared it up really quickly. (I pumped just a little and used a dropper to put it in the corners of her eyes - she always blinked immediately, which distributed it without the rude shock of dropping it straight onto her eye.)
Did you know that breastmilk can also be used for acne, burns and sunburns, chapped lips and cheeks, cuts and scrapes, diaper rash, and ear infections? Breastmilk is some amazing stuff. :)

I've heard of this old wife's tale.. but I'd put NO Stock in it whatsoever.
While I have never actually tried because I can't lactate, lol, I have researched and studied breasmilk and its effects on the immune system. It is FULL of mom's antibodies, which baby gets from drinking it... however those antibodies wont work EXTERNALLY (as in put on an eye) because antibodies transmit to special Killer T cells and Other Immune cells which destroy the infection. Can't be done externally without prescription antibiotics or for it to just take it's course... if your baby is a newborn still, I WOULD NOT advise letting it run it's course... could harmfully affect eye/vision development. Go see the pediatrician!

I can't remember if it was for the ear or eye, but yes I used it and it did work. And know a few online people from a message board I go to who have done the same for both and it works.
No joke, breastmilk is really a natural remedy for many of baby's ailments.

It's a remedy for a blocked tear duct. You put a drop or two of breastmilk in the eye, and massage right up to the bridge of the nose.

Yes, Ive used it on my daughters and it worked. I have also used on my newborn kittens eyes and it worked. Breastmilk is great internally and externally. It can also be used on insect bites.
It is good for other things as well but I cant remember them right now.

Breastmlk is antibacterial...I've never read anything on topical antibacterial properties but I wouldn't doubt it.
Try it, why not. It certainly can't hurt him. If you don't notice results in a short time, go ASAP to the doctor. Actually, call the dr. anyhow.

I've never tried it in the eyes, but I put in up the nose for a stuffy nose. I wouldn't put it in the eyes. Just take the baby to the doctor. They will give you drops.

I would think it would work to wash the eye out good. It would not burn or hurt them.
