It usually does hurt. And may for many times after that.
If I were you, I would give it more time. Make sure you really know what you are getting into. Who cares about what others think about being a virgin. It is your body. There is nothing wrong with being one. Sex just has a lot of stuff that goes with it. Condom breakage, possible pregnancy, std's that are definitely not fun.. And don't forget about the emotional side. How will you feel if the person you want to do this with leaves.. or it just doesn't work out. Will you regret ever having sex with him?

Sex is a beautiful thing. Yes it may hurt you but the pain can be minimized by the experience of your partner.

You have to realize having sex is a very complicated thing. There are a lot of consequences that goes with having sex. The level of your knowledge and experience can make the act wonderful or a living hell. No matter what anyone says it is your body so you are the one in charge.

You have to be totally honest with yourself: am I ready to deal with all the negative things that goes with having sex to soon? Ask yourself are you mature enough to begin to understand all the complexities to having sex from getting pregnant to contracting a desease to losing your repretation as a young lady.

Most boys your age are not mature enough to handle this situation. Unfortunately it is the girl that has more to loose because you can get pregnant. Find an adult that you respect very well and let them know what your are thinking. This person will know and care for you while offering you responsible guidance before you get yourself into trouble. I only hope you can go to your parents and talk this out as well.

I trust you will make the right choices for you.

I'd wait. Not because it's horribly painful physically, but because it can be emotionally. It's didn't really hurt the first time, but it certainly didn't tickle, and I hated it. There may be some bleeding, then there is the constant worry about std's and pregnancy. Condoms only work most of the time, if used properly. Guys your age - hell guys way older than you - are not the most gentle or graceful about it. It can be rather disappointing the first time. I wish that I had waited. I love sex - but at 14 I wasn't ready.

Sex for the fist time can be physically painful but also emotionally too. I really hope you are not being pressured into this by your boyfriend. Although you may look & feel grownup sex, desire & passion are things you should experience with a long term partner when you are much older. Remember that everything you say & do & the way you behave & the way you look is shared with the world around you, but your virginity can only be shared once!. Choose your AGE & PARTNER wisely as tou may regret it forever.

Yes it does, and it brings on soo much more things besides pain. If you're ready to have a baby then you're ready for sex. You can't even work, sex should be the fartherest thing from your mind right now. Finish school, get good grades go to college, then think about sex. I wish I would have waited. I have two kids now. My first while I was in high school. Your virginity is a precious gift don't just give it to someone who will love you for a few weeks. Respect yourself enough to wait!

Yes hun, it really does hurt, but I think it depends on the girl. But please, please, please wait until you're married. You give away a part of yourself that you'll never have again and it's horrible unless it's with a spouse who you'll be with for the rest of your life. I waited until I was married to have sex (21 years old) and even with my loving husband, it was the most painful experience I've ever been through. But don't let the pain or the fear be the reason that you choose to abstain. Wait because sex is so much more beautiful, special and meaningful when you have the maturity to appreciate it. I'm totally serious. And I don't think you'll regret waiting for the perfect man =)

YES. It hurts sooooooo much! You should wait until you are at least 18. Think about getting your high school diploma, think about getting a degree, think about becoming a lawyer, doctor, engineer, etc., etc. If you make the mistake to start having sex at such a young age you will end up pregnant before 18.

First of all you shouldn't do it at your age. 14 is still young. Just enjoy life now without the hassle of all that crap.. besides legally you are to young and it could get your bf into a lot of trouble

Now... Yes it will hurt the first time. It does for everyone. Just remember when you decide to do it remember to relax and enjoy... it will hurt but over time it will get better.

You should wait a little. But my guess is it does hurt the first time because of the hymen breaking and whatnot. But I'm not a chick so I can't say for sure. That's just my uneducated guess. Just wait, the feelings that come with sex are not what you want in your life right now.

NO, you should not begin having sex at your age.

If you can at all bring yourself to make a pledge of abstinence to yourself, I encourage you to do so. Waiting until marriage is best.

Does 1st time sex hurt? Somewhat yes. Does it hurt so much it is traumatizing? No. Whether you choose to have sex now, or wait, you will experience no more pain than the countless women throughout the history of the world have experienced and they all lived through it.

Please, please, please wait.
