a friend of mine when people see her picture they tell me she's beautifull but when they see her physically......................

I think the right way to say it would be that a beautiful person can look ugly. Even the most beautiful of celebrities can be caputred in quite an ugly state. Perhaps it is a weight issue, or maybe lack of self-care....but what people probably are seeing is that beautiful peson without distraction of other faults.

not always it all depends on the light make up and pose i know that when my over weight friend looks in a certain way she doesn't look over weight at all and she looks really nice.i mean if you like her and she doesnt mind how she looks then like dimplez said beauty is in the eye of the beholder which in this case would be your friend!

That's kind of a snotty thing to say about your friend, I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've known really beautiful girls/guys physically but they have the worst personalities and it makes them look ugly.

yes, i once knew a woman who was extremely unattractive in real life who was very photogenic and looked lovely in all her photos. i guess it's no different from a beautiful woman looking terrible in all her pictures.

Absolutly.. you can usually do it by make up and lighting alone.. and for those really bad cases there is always photoshop...

Yes, make-up, right light, pose... It is possible to look passable.
