Monkeys have a bone for a pennis?

I saw a TV program with Desmond Morris years ago showing that the pennis of monkeys is actually a bone that portrude when aroused. Is that true? Which other animals have this peculiar characteristic?

The baculum, os penis or penis bone is found in most mammals but not humans, horses, rabbits, marsupials and some others. The bone gives support to the penis during copulation.

Not true. And that's "penis" not "pennis."
