1. These people were born IN the United States
2. The Japanese had never plotted ANY domestic insurrection, there was no need to suspect their devotion to America
3. The Japanese had served faithfully in World War I on the side of the Americans


For:

1. Japan had attacked Pearl Harbr with no prior hint at aggression
2. Japan was the most formidable enemy at the outset of WW II--even more than Germany or Italy

Against: it's prior restraint, which is unAmerican.
For: if you lived through 9/11, I don't need to tell you "for"s.
