im doing yet again another project, and i would greatly appreciate your help. i need some information on dolley madison, and how she saved the valuables from the burning whitehouse. i would love some sources,and would appreciate not having sources from wickipedia or rootsweb, because i was told not to use those sources. thanks again.

Dolley Madison was great. She lived in DC before she married James Madison. There are whole books written about her. Try an old-fashioned encyclopedia. Any year will do, because you don't need up to date info. You might also look at local history sites for Maryland, because that is where she went when she left the White House. My guess is that there will be good info at whitehouse.gov/history/firstladies The item she is most noted for saving was a painting of George Washington, which you can still see today because it was saved.

The quick way would be to use some of the sources they used. That's not plagiarism.
