i didn't want anyone to know. my friend spillrd the beans and now if he find out im afraid we won't be friends anymore

we are such good friends and i think if he finds out it will ruin our friendship also this afternoon someone asked me if i liked him i said no and he replied we're just good friends

as i see it there are three possible outcomes:
1) he won't be your friend anymore (as you state), or
2) he will still be your friend, or
3) he will like you back and you may become an item.
sounds to me like the chance for 3) is worth the gamble, don't you agree?

well, if you like him then maybe you should tell him before that someone tells him. and if he doesnt want to be friends anymore because you like him then he wasnt a good friend in the first place.

You should talk to him and let him know before she gets the chance to. Talk to him as a friend and let him know that his friendship is important to you.
