I agree with fdm215. I bought my wife's at a jewelry mall in Beverly Hills. It was made in the 1920's, and has a unique and beautiful look to it. The quality of the half karat stone was nice (I don't recall exactly). I got it for about $1600. Don't buy into the hype that an engagement ring has to be some percentage of your income or anything. Diamonds aren't even that precious of a stone, the price is controlled by releasing calculated amounts into the world market from stockpiles. If price is a major concern and you really do want a ring, consider a different stone. Pick one for it's own beauty and color.

i'd anticipate Ebay or Amazon. intense highway probable Argos or such. Even H Samuels or different rings chain as well. maximum will do rings extremely lower priced. do not worry about human beings announcing 'cheapskate' or some thing - my engagement ring become lower priced, notwithstanding it seems wonderful, it become purely what i needed. it is the that technique of the hoop that is the numerous element, no longer the fee ticket. I also imagine i'd be demanding somewhat if the lady in question become more beneficial worried about the fee than what it stood for! notwithstanding, on announcing that, i'd steer sparkling of any lower priced ring that gave the impact of it fell out a christmas cracker!!

Well, it depends what you mean by "cheap" - many of the national chains carry engagement rings now (Wal-mart, Target, Big K). You can also look into vintage rings - they can be very beautiful, "one of a kind" and inexpensive compared to modern rings.

you should go to an outlet. They usually have kick *** jewelry at a very low price. Also, you could try a market of some sort. The jewelry is mostly unusual but sometimes you can find a really cool piece that nobody else has!! Good luck and congratulations!!!
