I need to sue Amazon.com

Yes, it's possible. You can sue a business wherever it is physically located, or where it does business. Contact your Secretary of State or Corporations Office to get the name and addresses of Amazon's resident agent. (You might be able to do this by computer.) However: you should go back and read the Terms of Service, if there are any. The agreement you made with Amazon might contain a paragraph that requires you to sue it in a certain place.
